The Rajasthan government on Friday (06.11.2023) assigned new responsibilities to three of its IPS officers who had been removed from their positions as Superintendent of Police (SP) on the instructions of the Election Commission. These officers were subsequently reassigned to roles within the police headquarters.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Karan Sharma (IPS:2014:RJ) has been posted as SP of CID (CB), Jaipur.
- Rajesh Kumar Meena (IPS:2016:RJ) has been posted as SP, Cyber Crime, PHQ, Jaipur.
- Sudhir Chaudhary (IPS:2015:RJ) has been posted as SP of CID (CB), Jaipur.
