Rajasthan: Responsibilities swapped between two IAS officers

The Rajasthan government Tuesday (03.10.2023) executed a significant administrative reshuffle by swapping the roles of two IAS officers. The objective is to improve and streamline the state’s administrative framework.

The officers affected by this change are as follows:

1. Om Prakash Bunkar (IAS:2010:RJ), District Collector and District Magistrate, Kota, has been reassigned to the role of Managing Director at the Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation in Jaipur.
2. Mahaveer Prasad Meena (IAS), Managing Director of the Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation in Jaipur, has been transferred to serve as the new District Collector and District Magistrate in Kota.
