In a major administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government on Saturday (July 19, 2025) transferred 91 IPS officers across various districts and ranges of the state. According to the transfer order issued by the Department of Personnel, several key districts have witnessed changes in the Superintendents of Police (SPs). The most notable changes were made at the Inspector General (IG) level in Jaipur and Udaipur ranges.
Senior IPS officer Rahul Prakash has been appointed as the new IG of Jaipur Range, while Gaurav Srivastava, previously serving as IG of Chief Minister’s Security, has been transferred as the new IG of Udaipur Range.
