The Rajasthan government on Monday (01.07:2024) promoted IPS officer Govind Gupta (IPS:1993:RJ) to the rank of Director General of Police. Gupta is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police for Planning, Modernization and Welfare, and he will continue in this position until further orders. With Gupta’s promotion, the number of DGPs in the cadre has increased to eight.
