Rajasthan govt relieves two officers for central deputation

The Rajasthan government on Thursday (22.08.2024) relieved IAS officer Purna Chandra Kishan (IAS:2005:RJ) and IPS officer Navajyoti Gogoi (IPS:2000:RJ) from their state assignments and placed their services under the Government of India.

The Rajasthan government on Thursday (22.08.2024) relieved IAS officer Purna Chandra Kishan (IAS:2005:RJ) and IPS officer Navajyoti Gogoi (IPS:2000:RJ) from their state assignments and placed their services under the Government of India. This move allows them to take up their new roles as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and Inspector General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), respectively. Both appointments are for a period of five years.

Purna Chandra Kishan was previously serving as Secretary of the Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Department in Jaipur, while Navajyoti Gogoi was serving as Inspector General of Police, Personnel, at Police Headquarters, Jaipur.
