Rajasthan: 30 IPS officers shifted, R K Sharma post as DGP, Law & Order

In a major reshuffle in the Police Administration, the Rajasthan government on Friday (02.06.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 30 IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Rajeev Kumar Sharma (IPS:1990:RJ), DGP-cum-Director, Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DGP, Law & Order, RAC and SDRF, Jaipur.
2. Janga Sriniwas Rao (IPS:1990:RJ), DGP, Training, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DGP, Training, Community Policing and Human Rights, Jaipur.
3. Dr. Ravi Prakash Meharda (IPS:1990:RJ), DGP, Civil Rights and Cyber Crime, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DGP, SCRB and Cyber Crime and Technical Services (Telecommunication & Technical), Jaipur.
4. Sanjay Agrawal (IPS:1992:RJ), ADGP, Railways, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Hqrs, Jaipur.
5. Anil Paliwal (IPS:1994:RJ), ADGP, Personnel, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Railways.
6. Binita Thakur (IPS:1996:RJ), ADGP, Recruitment, and Promotion Board, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Police Housing, Jaipur.
7. Sachin Mittal (IPS:1996:RJ), ADGP, Training, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Recruitment and Promotion Board, Rajasthan.
8. P Ramjee (IPS:1998:RJ), ADGP, Security, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP-cum-Director-Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur.
9. Rupinder Singh (IPS:1999:RJ), IGP, Ajmer Range, Ajmer, has been transferred and posted as IGP, RAC, Jaipur.
10. Lata Manoj Kumar (IPS:2000:RJ), IGP, RAC, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Ajmer Range, Ajmer.
11. Gaurav Srivastava (IPS:2004:RJ), IGP, Bharatpur Range, Bharatpur, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Crime-II, Jaipur.
12. Rahul Prakash (IPS:2006:RJ), DIG, CID (Crime Branch), Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Bharatpur Range, Bharatpur.

23. Dr. Kiran Kang Sidhu (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, Jalore, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 11th Battalion, RAC, New Delhi.

25. Narayan Togas (IPS), SP, Karauli, has been transferred and posted as SP, SOG, Jaipur.
