Rajasthan: 24 IPS shifted, SPs appointed for 15 New Districts and IGs for three Ranges

In a significant administrative development, the Rajasthan government undertook the transfer of 24 IPS officers on the night of Monday, August 7. The list of transfers includes the name of the newly appointed Inspector General (IG) for the jail department. Notably, IG appointments have also been confirmed for the three recently established divisions.

Furthermore, in the context of the 19 newly formed districts, Superintendents of Police (SPs) have been designated for 15 of them. The implementation of the commissionerate system is now in effect in Jaipur and Jodhpur, resulting in the appointment of police commissioners for these cities. In Jaipur Rural and Jodhpur Rural districts, the current SPs are set to assume the additional responsibilities.

The revamp has also brought changes in leadership, with SPs in two districts—Sikar and Sriganganagar—undergoing modifications in their roles.

The names of the IPS officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Bhupendra Sahoo (IPS:1999:RJ), IG, Cyber Crime, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as IG, Jail, Jaipur.
2. H G Raghavendra Suhasaa (IPS:2001:RJ), OSD (Police), Pali Division, has been transferred and posted as IG, Pali.
3. S Parimala (IPS:2004:RJ), OSD (Police), Banswara, has been transferred and posted as IG, Banswara.
4. Satyendra Singh (IPS:2005:RJ), OSD (Police), Sikar, has been transferred and posted as IG, Sikar.
5. Deepak Bhargav (IPS:2009:RJ), Director, Intelligence Training Academy, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, ACB, Jaipur.
6. Deshmukh Paris Anil (IPS:2010:RJ), SP, Sriganganagar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Sikar.
7. Vikas Sharma (IPS:2010:RJ), SP, Bhiwadi, Alwar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Sriganganagar.
8. Rajendra Kumar (IPS:2010:RJ), OSD (Police), Anupgarh, has been transferred and posted as SP, Anupgarh.
9. Raj Kumar Gupta (IPS:2011:RJ), OSD (Police), Kekri, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kekri.
10. Arshad Ali (IPS:2011:RJ), OSD (Police), Salumber, has been transferred and posted as SP, Salumber.
