Rajasthan: 24 IPS officers shifted, Smita Srivastav posted as ADGP, ACB-II

The Rajasthan government on Thursday (22.02.2024) implemented significant changes to the police administration, redistributing responsibilities among 24 IPS officers, which includes 11 Superintendents of Police. Additionally, two IPS officers were bestowed with extra duties.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Smita Srivastava (IPS:1995:RJ), ADGP, Civil Rights & Anti Human Trafficking, Jaipur, has been posted as ADGP, Anti Corruption Bureau-II, Jaipur.
2. Bipin Kumar Pandey (IPS:1998:RJ), ADGP, Police Welfare, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Technical Services (Telecommunication & Technical), Jaipur.
3. Bhupendra Sahu (IPS:1999:RJ), ADGP, Technical Services (Telecommunication & Technical), Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Civil Rights & Anti Human Trafficking, Jaipur.
4. Jai Narayan (IPS:2005:RJ), IGP, Intelligence, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Civil Rights, Jaipur.
5. Ajay Singh (IPS:2009:RJ), DIG, Recruitment & Promotion Board, PHQ, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, SSB, Jodhpur.
6. Anil Kumar-II (IPS:2009:RJ), DIG, SSB, Jodhpur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Recruitment & Promotion Board, PHQ, Jaipur.
7. Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav (IPS:2012:RJ), DCP (East), Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Sikar.
8. Rajan Dushyant (IPS:2011:RJ), DCP (West), Jodhpur City, Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bhilwara.
9. Shankar Dutt Sharma (IPS:2011:RJ), SP, CID, Crime Branch, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Housing, Hqrs, Jaipur.
10. Ram Murti Joshi (IPS), SP, Sikar, has been transferred and posted as SP, GRP, Ajmer.
11. Alok Srivastava (IPS:2011:RJ), SP, Bhilwara, has been transferred and posted as DCP (East), Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur.
12. Pooja Awana (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, GRP, Ajmer, has been transferred and posted as SP, Phalodi.
13. Vineet Kumar Bansal (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, Beawar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kekri.
14. Shyam Singh (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, Jalore, has been transferred and posted as SP, Dungerpur.
15. Surendra Singh (IPS:2013:RJ), DCP, Crime, Police Commissionerate, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 8th Battlion, RAC, New Delhi.
16. Narender Singh (IPS:2013:RJ), SP, Kekri, has been transferred and posted as SP, Beawer.
17. Anil Kumar (IPS:2014:RJ), SP, Bhiwadi, has been transferred and posted as SP, Sirohi.
18. Gyan Chandra Yadav (IPS), SP, Jhunjhunu, has been transferred and posted as SP, Jalore.
19. Laxman Das (IPS:2014:RJ), DCP (Traffic), Police Commissionerate, Jaipur, has been transferred and
    posted as SP, CID, Crime Branch, Jaipur.
20. Rajesh Kumar Yadav (IPS:2014:RJ), DGP (Hqrs), Police Commissionerate, Jaipur, has been transferred and
    posted as DCP (West), Jodhpur City, Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur.
21. Rajarshi Raj Verma (IPS:2017:RJ), SP, Dungarpur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Jhunjhunu.
22. Vandita Rana (IPS:2017:RJ), SP, Sirohi, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kotputli-Behror.
23. Jyeshtha Maitrei (IPS:2018:RJ), SP, Kotputli-Behror, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bhiwadi.
24. Sagar (IPS:2019:RJ), SP, Phalodi, has been transferred and posted as DCP (Traffic), Police Commissionerate, Jaipur.

Further, two IPS officers have been assigned additional responsibilities.

1. Govind Gupta (IPS:1993:RJ), ADGP, Planning, Modernisation & Welfare, Jaipur, has been given additional charge of the post of ADGP, Police Welfare.
