Following the announcement of the Assembly Election in the state, the Rajasthan government on Friday (13.10.2023) issued transfer and posting orders affecting one IAS and five IPS officers. While these transfer orders were officially issued by the Department of Personnel, it’s important to note that these administrative changes were likely made under the direction of the Election Commission of India. With the announcement of the election date, the Model Code of Conduct automatically comes into force, and these transfers are typically carried out to ensure a level playing field and maintain the integrity of the electoral process.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Avichal Chaturvedi (IAS:2012:RJ), Joint Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department and Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as District Collector and District Magistrate, Alwar.
  2. Dr. Rajeev Pachar (IPS:2010:RJ), SP, Jaipur Rural, has been transferred and posted as SP, Hanumangarh.
  3. Yogesh Dadhich (IPS:2010:RJ), SP-I, ACB, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bhiwadi.
  4. Alok Srivastava (IPS:2011:RJ), SP, SOG, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Didwana-Kuchaman.
  5. Shantanu Kumar Singh (IPS:2012:RJ), SP, ATS, Jaipur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Jaipur Rural.
  6. Praveen Nayak Nunavath (IPS:2019:RJ), SP, Didwana-Kuchaman, has been transferred and posted as SP, Churu.
