Senior diplomat Rahul Shrivastava (IFS: 1999) has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Namibia. Presently, he is serving as Ambassador of India to Romania, Albania and Moldova and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, ” Rahul Shrivastava (IFS: 1999) has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Namibia.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
Shrivastava was first appointed as Ambassador to Romania in June 2020 and subsequently accredited to Moldova in August 2020 and Albania in October 2020, holding concurrent responsibilities.
