Rahul Raichur (IRS-C&IT:2015) has been posted as Private Secretary to Pralhad Joshi, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and New & Renewable Energy. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (23.06.2025), the competent authority has approved the proposal to appoint Mr Raichur to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post and for the period up to February 20, 2028 (i.e. for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest.
He will assume the charge of the post at Deputy Secretary level.
