Senior IAS officer Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS:2016:NL) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development (WCD), New Delhi, for a tenure of four years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (August 6, 2025) the competent authority approved his appointment from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Mali, a Nagaland cadre IAS officer, will now be part of the central staffing scheme, contributing to the implementation of national programs for women and child welfare.
