R Vyasan and Surbhi Jain appointed as Director in PMO

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Saturday got two new officers after the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) cleared their appointments.

  1. R Vyasan (IAS:2007:NL) has been appointed as Director in the PMO. He has been moved from the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance to the PMO on lateral shift basis for a period up to 23.08.2023. (i.e. a total period of 7 years away from the Cadre).
  2. Surbhi Jain (IES:2001) has been appointed as Director in the PMO for a period of five years. Earlier, she was serving as Economic Adviser in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
