Senior diplomat R Ravindra (IFS:1999) was on Tuesday (10.09.2024) appointed as India’s next Ambassador to Iceland. According to an order issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), he is currently serving as India’s Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Nations and is expected to take up the new assignment shortly.
He joined India’s Deputy Permanent Representative at UN in New York in September 2020. Before that, he was Joint Secretary (Central and West Africa) in the MEA in New Delhi.
