R Menaka re-designated as Director in Cabinet Secretariat

R Menaka (IAS:2011:AGMUT), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (26.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate Menaka’s post to Director level with effect from January 1, 2025, or the date she assumes charge of the re-designated post and for a period upto June 27, 2029 i.e. total tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.

It is noteworthy that R Menaka commenced her central deputation tenure on June 28, 2024.
