R Menaka appointed Dy Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat

R Menaka (IAS:2011:AGMUT), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce, has been laterally shifted to the Cabinet secretariat as Deputy Secretary. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (25.11.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the recommendations of the Civil Services Board for lateral shift of Ms. Menaka to Cabinet Secretariat for a tenure upto 27.06.2028 (i.e. balance period of her 4 years tenure under central staffing scheme) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
