R Menaka appointed as Deputy Secretary in Department of Commerce

R Menaka (IAS:2011:AGMUT), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (09.05.2024), the central government has approved the appointment of R Menaka to the post under the central staffing scheme for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
