Punjab: Two IPS officers transferred, Swapan Sharma is new Ludhiana CP

The Punjab government on Friday (28.03.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for two IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Swapan Sharma (IPS:2009:PB), DIG, Ferozepur Range, Ferozepur, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.
2. Harmanbir Singh (IPS:2010:PB), Joint Director, MRS PPA, Phillaur with additional charge of DIG, IRB, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Ferozepur Range, Ferozepur.
