Punjab: Two IAS officers assigned additional responsibilities, one shifted

The administrative landscape of Punjab underwent a noteworthy adjustment as the state government assigned additional responsibilities to two IAS officers, and concurrently, one IAS officer was reassigned to a new role.

The names of the officers and their posting details are as follows;

1. Krishan Kumar (IAS:1997:PB), Principal Secretary, Water Resources with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances, has been given one more charge as Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wild Life Preservation.
2. Vikas Garg (IAS:1998:PB), Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wild Life Preservation, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
3. Varun Roojam (IAS:2004:PB), Excise Commissioner, has been given additional charge of Taxation Commissioner.
