Punjab : Three IGs among 08 IPS officers transferred

The Election Commission on Monday (24.01.2022) issued transfer and posting orders of eight IPS officers in Punjab.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Gurinder Singh Dhillon (IPS:1997:PB) : IGP, Crime with additional charge of IGP Technical Services.
2. Mukhwinder Singh China (IPS:1997:PB) : IGP, Security.
3. Jaskaran Singh (IPS:1998:PB) : IGP, Punjab Armed Police, Jalandhar.
4. Ajay Maluja (IPS) : AIG, GRP-II, Pb. Patiala.
5. Rakesh Kaushal (IPS) : Commandant, 3rd Commando Battalion, SAS Nagar.
6. Virendra Paul Singh (IPS) : AIG, HRD, Pb., Chandigarh with additional charge of AIG, Security.
7. Opinderjit Singh Ghuman (IPS) : Commandant, 27th Battalion, Punjab Armed Police, Jalandhar.
8. Sukhpal Singh (IPS) : SP, Special Protection Unit (CM Security)
