Punjab: Three IAS officers get additional responsibilities

The Punjab government on Saturday (24.02.2024) assigned additional charges to three IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

1. Amrit Singh (IAS:2014:PB), Director, Higher Education with additional charges of Director, Employment Generation and Training and Secretary, Lokpal, has been given additional charge of Director, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities.
2. Rahul Gupta (IAS:2016:PB), Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Medical Education and Research, has been given additional charge of Controller, Printing and Stationery.
3. Sona Thind (IAS:2017:PB), Additional Secretary, Labour, has been given additional charge of Executive Director, BACKFINCO.
