Punjab: Six DCs among 39 IAS officers shifted

In a major administrative reshuffle on Sunday, Punjab government has transferred 39 IAS officers, including changing deputy commissioners of six districts.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Seema Jain (IAS:1991:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education, and Industrial Training, has been given additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, School Education.
2. KAP Sinha (IAS:1992:PB), Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Rehabilitation, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Famer’s Welfare, Horticulture and Soil and Water Conservation.
3. Anurag Verma (IAS:1993:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Legal and Legislative Affairs, was given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Information Technology and Investment Promotion.
4. Jaspreet Talwar (IAS:1995:PB), Principal Secretary, Higher Education, and Languages with additional charge of Principal Secretary,
   School Education, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Higher Education, and Languages with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Employment Generation, and Training.
5. Dilip Kumar (IAS:1995:PB), Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Information Technology, and Investment Promotion, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, NRI Affairs.
6. Sumer Singh Gurjar (IAS:1998:PB), Principal Secretary, Agriculture, and Farmer’s Welfare, Horticulture, and Soil and Water Conservation, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Removal of Grievances.
7. Ajoy Sharma (IAS:1999:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Local Government.
8. Alaknanda Dayal (IAS:2000:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Revenue, and Rehabilitation.
9. Shruti Singh (IAS:2004:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Secretary, Revenue and Rehabilitation with additional charge of Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
10. Gaggandip Singh Brar (IAS:2004:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Freedom Fighters.
11. Tanu Kashyap (IAS:2005:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Home Affairs and Justice with additional charge of Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
12. Daljit Singh Mangat (IAS:2005:PB), Commissioner, Ferozpur Division, Ferozpur, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Ferozpur with additional charge of Secretary, Lokpal.
13. Rupanjali Karthik (IAS:2008:PB), Special Secretary, Science, Technology and Environment with additional charge of Special Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, School Education.
14. Rajiv Prashar (IAS:2008:PB), Secretary, Lokpal with additional charge of the posts of Secretary, State Election Commission and MD, Punjab Financial Corporation.
15. Ramvir (IAS:2009:PB), Managing Director, MARKFED, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training with additional charge of Secretary, Punjab School Education Board, SAS Nagar.
16. Devinder Singh (IAS:2010:PB), Director, Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities with additional charge of Member Secretary, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, and Punjab State Backward Classes Commission. has been placed at the disposal of Department of Cooperation for posting as Managing Director, The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited.
17. Puneet Goyal (IAS:2010:PB), Special Secretary, Home Affairs and Justice with additional charge of Printing and Stationery, has been given additional charge of Director, Industries, and Commerce.
18. Girish Dayalan (IAS:2011:PB), Special Secretary, Governance Reforms and Public Grievances with additional charge of posts of Director, Governance Reforms and Public Grievances, Director, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration and Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, has been placed at the disposal of Department of Cooperation for posting as MD, MARKFED with additional charge of the posts of Special Secretary, Governance Reforms and Public Grievances, Director, Governance Reforms and Public Grievances, and Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion
19. Vineet Kumar (IAS:2012:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktar Sahib, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot.
20. Bhupider Singh-II (IAS:2012:PB), Special Secretary, Power, has been given additional charge of Director, Information and Public Relations.
21. Baldeep Kumar (IAS:2012:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Mansa, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Tarn Taran.
