The Punjab government on Thursday (05.09.2024) promoted senior IPS officer Rakesh Agrawal (IPS:1999:PB) in the rank of the Additional Director General Police (ADGP) in Level -15 of the Pay Matrix w.e.f February 28, 2024.
Since Rakesh Agrawal is currently on central deputation as Inspector General (IG) in the CRPF, he will be entitled only to notional benefits. The actual benefits would be admissible as and when he joins his duty in the state government.
