The Punjab government made changes in the bureaucratic setup on Tuesday, involving senior IAS officer Tejveer Singh (IAS:1994:PB), who is the Principal Secretary, Power, and also holding the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances. Mr. Singh proceeded on an overseas Study Tour leave from July 31, 2023, to August 4, 2023.
During his absence, the responsibilities and charges of Principal Secretary, Power, have been entrusted to Vikas Pratap (IAS:1994:PB) in addition to his existing duties. Similarly, Ajoy Sharma (IAS:1999:PB) will handle the work of Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances, in addition to his present assignments. This redistribution of charges aims to ensure the smooth functioning of the respective departments during Tejveer Singh’s absence.
