The Punjab and Haryana High Court has allowed a petition challenging Vijay Kumar Janjua‘s “promotion” as Chief Secretary. Petitioner Tulsi Ram Mishra sought directions for quashing the order “due to pending graft cases filed against him for which the permission of prosecution has been granted”.
The petitioner contended that the “promotion” was against the guidelines framed. The case will come up for hearing on August 1.
