The Punjab government appointed Former Punjab DGP Suresh Arora (IPS:1982:PB) as the state’s new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC). Arora, an IPS officer of 1982 batch, retired in February this year after 33 years of service in different capacities. He became DGP of Punjab Police in October 2015.
