Senior IAS officer A Venu Prasad (IAS:1991:PB) on Monday (14.03.2022) joined as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to the Punjab Chief Minister-designate Bhagwant Mann.
The Punjab government appointed Mr. Prasad to the post of ACS to the Chief Minister on Saturday (12.03.2022). He was Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs and Taxation, with an additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited. Hussan Lal (IAS:1995:PB), Principal Secretary, to outgoing Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, was transferred as Principal Secretary to Tourism and Cultural Affairs.
