Punjab: 6 DCs among 10 IAS officers shifted

The Punjab government on Monday issued transfer posting orders for 10 IAS officers, including six Deputy Commissioners.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Surabhi Malik (IAS:2012:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Department of New and Renewable Energy Sources for posting as Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency.
2. Showkat Ahmad Parray (IAS:2013:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Patiala.
3. Harpreet Singh Sudan (IAS:2013:PB), Director, Sports and Youth Services with an additional charge of Controller, Printing and Stationer, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib.
4. Sakshi Sawhney (IAS:2014:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana.
5. Jaspreet Singh (IAS:2014:PB), Director, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities with additional charge of Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
6. Aditya Uppal (IAS:2015:PB), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot.
7. Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu (IAS:2016:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Kapurthala, has been transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of Department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority, Jalandhar.
8. Amit Kumar Panchal (IAS:2016:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Phagwara with additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Phagwara, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala.
9. Gautam Jain (IAS:2017:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ludhiana, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
10. Harpreet Singh (IAS:2019:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Amritsar, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.
