The Punjab government on Monday (23.05.2022) issued transfer and posting orders of 19 IPS officers across the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Naresh Kumar (IPS:1994:PB): ADGP, Human Rights.
- M.F. Farooqui (IPS:1995:PB): ADGP, Railways with additional charge of ADGP, Public Grievances.
- G Nageswara Rao (IPS:1995:PB): ADGP, Provisioning.
- L K Yadav (IPS:1996:PB): To report to DGP. Further posting Orders will be issued later on.
- Narinder Bhargav (IPS): Joint Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.
- Opinderjit Singh Ghuman (IPS): Commandant, 27th BN PAP, Jalandhar with additional charge of AIG, AGTF Jalandhar.
- Satinder Singh (IPS): Commandant ISTC, Kapurthala with additional charge of AIG CI, Jalandhar.
- Sachin Gupta (IPS:2014:PB): AIG, Special Branch-II, Intelligence.
- Saumya Mishra (IPS:2014:PB): Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, Ludhiana.
- Navneet Singh Bains (IPS:2015:PB): Joint Commissioner of Police Hqrs, Jalandhar.
