Punjab : 19 IPS officers transferred

The Punjab government on Monday issued transfer and posting orders of 19 senior IPS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. V.K. Bhawra (IPS:1987:PB) : DGP, Punjab Home Guard Director, Civil Defence, Chandigarh.
2. Varinder Kumar (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Intelligence, Punjab.
3. Gurmeet Kaur Deo (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Community Affairs Division (CAD) Punjab with addl. charge of women & Child Affairs.
4. Satish Kumar Asthana (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Human Rights
5. Shashi Prabha Dwivedi (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Lokpal Punjab and addl. Charge of Nodal Officer, Punjab Police Election Cell.
6. Dr. Naresh Kumar (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Crime (PBI & SCRB), Punjab.
7. Ram Singh (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Modernization.
8. S.S. Srivastava (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Security Punjab with additional charge NRI Affairs Division
9. Praveen Kumar Sinha (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Prisons, Punjab
10. Amardeep Singh Rai (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Welfare, Punjab
11. B. Chandra Sekhar (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Crime Punjab with additional charge of ADGP, IVC, Punjab
12. Anita Punj (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP-cum-Director, MRS PPA, Phillaur.
13. Neeraja Voruvuru (IPS:1995:PB) : ADGP, Welfare, Punjab.
14. Vibhu Raj (IPS:1996:PB) : IGP, Modernization, Punjab with additional charge of IGP Security, Punjab.
15. Gurindra Singh Dhillon (IPS-SPS:1997:PB) : IGP, Crime with addl. charge of IGP Crime- PBI & SCRB.
16. M.S. Chhina (IPS-SPS:1997:PB) : IGP, Human Rights, Punjab with addl. charge of IGP Crime-PBI.
17. Mohnish Chawla (IPS-SPS:1997:PB) : IGP, IRB, Punjab with addl. charge of Excise & Taxation, Punjab.
18. S.K. Singh : IGP, Crime Punjab including Crime against Women.
19. Hardial Singh Mann (IPS-SPS:2004:PB) : DIG, Ferozepur Range.
