The Punjab government on Monday (13.03.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for thirteen IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Anurag Agarwal (IAS:1990:PB), ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Cooperation with additional charge of ACS, Elections has been given additional charge of ACS, Medical Education & Research.
- Raji P Shrivastava (IAS:1992:PB), ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wild Life Preservation, has been transferred and posted as ACS, Freedom Fighters.
- Vivek Pratap Singh (IAS:1996:PB), Principal Secretary, Local Government, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare.
- Rahul Bhandari (IAS:1997:PB), Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation; Principal Secretary, Information & Public Relations; Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
- Veerendra Kumar Meena (IAS:1997:PB), Principal Secretary, Freedom Fighters with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Printing & Stationery and Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Printing & Stationery.
- Vikas Garg (IAS:1998:PB), Principal Secretary, Transport, has been given additional charge of Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wild Life Preservation.
- Sumer Singh Gurjar (IAS:1998:PB), Principal Secretary, Social Security, Women & Child Development with additional charge of Commissioner, Roopnagar Division, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Horticulture and Principal Secretary, Soil & Water Conservation.
- Gurkirat Kirpal Singh (IAS:2001:PB), Secretary, Tourism with additional charge of Secretary, Mines & Geology, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs with additional charges of Secretary, Tourism and Secretary, Mines & Geology.
- Arshdeep Singh Thind (IAS:2004:PB), Secretary, Agriculture & Famer’s Welfare, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Horticulture.
- Ritu Aggarwal (IAS:2005:PB), Secretary, Home Affairs & Justices, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Cooperation,
- Malwinder Singh Jaggi (IAS:2005:PB), CEO, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Information & Public Relations with additional charges of Secretary, Civil Aviation and CEO, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
- Abhinav (IAS:2006:PB), Mission Director, National Health Mission with additional charge of Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare with additional charges of Mission Director, Nation Health Mission and Commissioner,Food & Drug Administration.
- Pradeep Kumar Agrawal (IAS:2006:PB), CEO, State Heath Agency, Patiala, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Health & Family Welfare for posting as Managing Director, Punjab Health System Corporation.
