Punjab : 12 IPS officers transferred

The Punjab government has issued transfer and posting orders of 12 senior IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. S S Srivastava (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Security with additional charge of ADGP HRD.
2. Amardeep Rai (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, NRI Affairs.
3. Vibhu Raj (IPS:1996:PB) : IGP, Vigilance Bureau.
4. Shive Kumar Verma (IPS:1998:PB) : IGP, Intellience.
5. S K Singh : IGP, Community Affairs (Addl. Charge of IGP Crime against Women, Punjab).
6. Gurpreet Singh Gill (IPS-SPS:2004:PB) : DIG Law & Order with Addl. charge of DIG Community Affairs Division and Crimes against Women
   & Children.
7. Gurpreet Singh Toor (IPS-SPS:2004:PB) : DIG, Headquarters & Administration.
8. Surjit Singh (IPS-SPS:2004:PB) : DIG, Vigilance Bureau.
9. Harjeet Singh (IPS:2010:PB) : SSP, Fazilka.
10. Vivek Sheel Soni (IPS:2011:PB) : SSP, Ludhiana.
11. Akhil Chaudhary (IPS:2012:PB) : AIG Armament Punjab Chandigarh (With addl. charge of DCP Hqrs, Ludhiana.
12. Gaurav Toora (IPS:2014:PB) : SP, (Investigation) Amritsar (Rural).
