Punjab : 12 IAS officers shifted, V K Janjua posted as FC, Revenue & Rehabilitation

The Punjab government on Wednesday (06.10.2021) issued transfer and posting orders of 12 senior IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Ravneet Kaur (IAS:1988:PB) : Special Chief Secretary, Labour with additional charge of Special Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries.
2. Vijay Kumar Janjua (IAS:1989:PB) : Special Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Rehabilitation.
3. A Venu Prasad (IAS:1991:PB) : Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs with additional charges of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd and Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab state Transmission Corporation Ltd.
4. Alok Shekhar (IAS:1994:PB) : Principal Secretary, Medical Education and Research.
5. Veerendra Kumar Meena (IAS:1997:PB) : Secretary, Defence Services Welfare with additional charge of Secretary, Home Affairs, Justice and Jails.
6. Vikal Garg (IAS:1998:PB) : Secretary, Health and Family Welfare.
7. Arun Sekhri (IAS:2004:PB) : Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
8. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal (IAS:2006:PB) : Director, Social Security, Women and Child Development with additional charge of Special Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development.
9. Vinay Bublani (IAS:2008:PB) : Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority, SAS Nagar with additional charge of Director, Town and Country Planning.
10. Sanjay Popli (IAS:2008:PB) : Chief Executive Officer, Power Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
11. B Srinivasan (IAS:2011:PB) : Director-General, School Education.
12. Uma Shankar Gupta (IAS:2015:PB) : Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion with additional charges of Additional Managing Director Punjab Information and Communication Technology Corporation Ltd (Punjab INFOTECH) and Additional Principal Secretary, Chief Minister.
