In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government on Thursday (13.04.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 12 IAS officers and 1 IFS officer. All the officers have been asked to join their transferred duties as soon as possible.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Sarvjit Singh (IAS:1992:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Sports and Youth Services.
- Raji P Srivastava (IAS:1992:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Freedom Fighters, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development.
- Rakhee Gupta Bhandari (IAS:1997:PB), Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Services, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs.
- Rahul Tiwari (IAS:2000:PB), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, Science Technology and Environment.
- Kumar Rahul (IAS:2000:PB), Secretary, Employment Generation and Training with additional charge of Secretary, General Administration and Coordination, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, General Administration and Coordination with additional charge of Secretary, Employment Generation and Training. He will also hold the additional charge of the posts of Secretary Personnel and Secretary, Vigilance.
- Indu Malhotra (IAS:2005:PB), Secretary, Forest and Wild Life Preservation with additional charge of Secretary, Punjab State Information Commission, has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Roopnagar Division, Roopnagar.
- Ravi Bhagat (IAS:2006:PB), Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charge of the posts of Secretary, Punjab Rural Development Board and Secretary, Punjab State Agriculture Marketing Board, has been transferred and posted as Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charge of Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency.
- Manjit Singh Brar (IAS:2007:PB), Managing Director, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Limited with additional charge of the posts of Mission Director, Food Processing and Secretary, Food Processing, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Industries & Commerce for posting as Managing Director, Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC).
- Sonali Giri (IAS:2009:PB), Director, Information and Public Relations with additional charge of the posts of Director, Civil Aviation and Dorector, Hospitality, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs for posting as MD, PUNSUP.
- Kumar Amit (IAS:2010:PB), Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charge of MD, PSIEC, has been transferred and posted as Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charge of Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Limited.
- Amrit Kaur Gill (IAS:2010:PB), MD, PUNSUP, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Punjab State Agriculture Marketing Board with additional charge of Secretary, Punjab Rural Development Board.
- Parampal Kaur Sindhu (IAS:2011:PB), Special Secretary, Water Resources with additional charge of Additional Managing Director, PUNGRAIN, has been transferred and posted as Director, Hospitality with additional charge of Additional MD, PUNGRAIN.
- S P Anandh Kumar (IFS:2003:PB) has been posted as Special Secretary, Sports and Youth Services.
