Punjab: 11 IPS officers among 162 police officers shifted

As many as 162 police officers, including 11 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 65 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), were transferred and given new postings in Punjab on Sunday. The transfers were issued through two separate orders — the first list included 97 officers, while the second list covered 65 officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are

1. Ravjot Grewal (IPS:2015:PB), AIG, Technical Services, has been transferred and posted as AIG, Counter Intelligence, SAS Nagar.
2. Ashwini Gotyal (IPS:2016:PB), AIG, HRD, has been transferred and posted as AIG, ANTF, SAS Nagar.
3. Vatsala Gupta (IPS:2016:PB), Commandant, 27th Battalion PAP, Jalandhar, has been given additional charge of AIG, ANTF, Ludhiana.
4. Jasroop Kaur Batth (IPS:2020:PB), SP, Investigation, Jalandhar Rural, has been transferred and posted as ADCP-III, Amritsar.
5. Aditya S Warrrier (IPS:2020:PB), ADCP, Investigation, Jalandhar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Investigation, Amritsar Rural.
6. Vaibhav Choudhary (IPS:2020:PB), ASP, Detective, Patiala, has been transferred and posted as SP, Hqrs, Patiala.
7. Akarshi Jain (IPS:2020:PB), ASP, SD Civil Lines, Ludhiana, has been transferred and posted as ADCP-I, Jalandhar.
8. Sirivennela (IPS:2021:PB), ASP, SD Model Town, Jalandhar, has been transferred and posted as ADCP-II, Amritsar.
9. Jayant Puri (IPS:2021:PB), ASP, 13th Battalion, PAP, Chandigarh, has been transferred and posted as ADCP, Investigation, Jalandhar.
10. Vineet Ahlawat (IPS:2021:PB), ASP, SD, East, has been transferred and posted as ADCP, Operations and Security, Jalandhar.
11. Dilpreet Singh (IPS:2021:PB), ASP, SD Dinanagar, Gurdaspur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Hqrs, Sangrur.

The first list mentioned the transfer of 97 police officers.

The second list mentioned the transfer of 65 DSPs.
