Punjab: 10 IAS officers shifted

The Punjab government on Friday (06.12.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Vikas Pratap (IAS:1994:PB), Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Excise, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances.
2. Alok Shekhar (IAS:1994:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Jail with additional charge of posts of Additional Chief Secretary, Justice and Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation.
3. Ajoy Kumar Sinha (IAS:1996:PB), Principal Secretary, Finance, has been given additional charge of posts of Principal Secretary, Power; Principal Secretary, New & Renewable Energy and Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd.
4. Kumar Rahul (IAS:2000:PB), Administrative Secretary, Health & Family Welfare has been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Medical Education & Research.
5. Priyank Bharti (IAS:2001:PB), Administrative Secretary, Science, Technology & Environment, has been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Forests & Wild Life Preservation.
6. Shena Aggarwal (IAS:2012:PB), Director, Social Security Women & Child Development with additional charge of Special Secretary, Social Security, Women & Child Development, has been transferred and posted as Joint Development Commissioner, IRD with additional charge of posts Commissioner, NREGA; Director, Social Security Women & Child Development and Special Secretary, Social Security, Women & Child Development.
7. Sandeep Kumar (IAS:2015:PB), Available for posting, has been posted as Additional Registrar (Admn.), Cooperative Societies.
8. Sagar Setia (IAS:2017:PB), Available for posting, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Higher Education & Languages.
9. Ravinder Singh (IAS:2017:PB), Available for posting, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Labour.
10. Harjinder Singh (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Ludhiana, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Gurdaspur.
