The Punjab government on Tuesday (24.08.2021) effected a minor reshuffle in police administration by assigning new responsibilities to its 4 IPS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Ms. Shashi Prabha Dwivedi (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB), Punjab with additional charge of Nodal Officer, Police Elections Cell.
- Ms. Vibhu Raj (IPS:1996:PB) : ADGP, Vigilance Bureau.
- Gurpreet Singh Toor (IPS:2004:PB) : DIG, Patiala Range, Patiala with additional charge of DIG IRB, Punjab.
- J Elanchezhian (IPS:2010:PB) : DCP, Law and Orders and Operations, Ludhiana.
