PS Salunkhe (IPS:1995:MH) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG), Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on June 15, 2023, the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Salunkhe to the post on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
