Prof. Pinaki Majumdar appointed as Director, HRI, Allahabad

Prof. Pinaki Majumdar has been appointed as Director, Harish-Chandra Research Institute (HRI), Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, for a period up to January 31, 2024. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (17.06.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Majumdar to the post for a period up to 31.01.2024 (i.e. till his attaining the age of superannuation) on deputation basis, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
