The central deputation tenure of Praveen Mal Khanooja (IA&AS:1994) as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has been extended.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (05.03.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Khanooja beyond August 11, 2025 for a period upto November 7, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Khanooja has been serving in his current role since August 2022. Prior to this, he was the Director General of the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
