Praveen Kumar Thind (IAS:2007:PB) was on Friday (18.12.2022) appointed to the post of Director in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Delhi for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Thind to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
