The deputation tenure of Prateek Mohanty (IPS:2000:OR) as IG of CISF has been extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (12.04.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Mohanty from 07.08.2023 to 02.03.2024 (total 7 years).
