In a key appointment, Prashant Singh (IOFS:2008) has been appointed as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Mumbai, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (September 16, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved Mr. Singh’s appointment to the post for an initial tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
