Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda (IAS:1997:OR), currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers, has been given additional charge of Chief Executive Office (CEO) of the National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) for six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (10.02.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has accorded ex-post facto approval for entrustment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Meherda for six months with effect from 15.01.2025, or till appointment of regular incumbent to the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
