Indian Information Service (IIS) officer Pragya Paliwal Gaur (IIS:1991), who is presently working as Director General (M&C), Press Information Bureau (PIB), New Delhi (on the strength of PIB) Lucknow), has been transferred and posted as Director General, News Service Division :AIR, New Delhi. She will replace Maushumi Chakravarty (IIS:1991), who is retiring on August 31, 2024 on attaining the age of superannuation.
