Prachi Pandey (IA&AS:2001), Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, has been entrusted with additional charge of Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (August 21, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for ex-post facto approval of the assignment.
She will hold the additional charge for a period of six months with effect from July 27, 2025, or until a regular incumbent is appointed, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
