Polavarapu Mallikharjuna Prasad selected as CMD, Coal India Limited

Polavarapu Mallikharjuna Prasad has been selected for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Coal India Limited (CIL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on May 03, 2023. Presently, he is serving as Chairman & Managing Director, Central Coalfields Ltd.

He will be appointed to the post of CMD after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
