Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (04.10.204) interacted with the Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers from the 76th batch of the Regular Recruit (RR) and discussed the transformation of policing over the years and the importance of tackling new challenges like cybercrime.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister said, “Interacted with IPS Probationers of 76 RR earlier today. Wished them the very best in their endeavour of serving people. Discussed how policing has changed over the years and how it has become important to tackle new challenges like cyber crime. @svpnpahyd,”.
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), which trains the officers of the Indian Police Service, also posted on X, highlighting that PM Modi encouraged the trainees to deliver quality policing, contribute to nation-building, and create awareness of cybercrime.
The academy wrote, “Inspiring the future leaders of India’s police force, Prime Minister’s words of wisdom and guidance left a lasting impact on the trainees,”.
