Piyush Goyal gets extension as CEO of NATGRID

The central deputation tenure of senior IAS officer Mr. Piyush Goyal (IAS:1994:NL) as CEO of NATGRID (National Intelligence Grid) has been extended. As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, dated September 27, 2023, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has granted approval to extend Mr. Goyal’s deputation tenure. This extension is effective beyond the original end date of March 25, 2024, and is now valid up to November 19, 2025, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier.
