Pinky Sawariya (ISS:2012), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Central Information Commission (CIC), Delhi, for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (December 19, 2025), she will serve under the central staffing scheme for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post on or before December 31, 2025.
The order further states that thereafter she will be appointed as Joint Secretary (Director level) in the CIC with effect from January 1, 2026, for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
